Interleukin-4 (IL-4) is a cytokine that belongs to the interleukin family. Interleukin 4 is mainly produced by T cells, B cells, macrophages and other immune cells.IL4 is a key regulatory molecule that plays an important role in the Th2 type of immune response. Interleukin 4 has a variety of biological functions that promote B cell class switching to IgE and IgG1, thereby enhancing the effects of humoral immunity.
