Interleukin 10 (IL-10) is an immunosuppressive cytokine produced by a variety of mammalian cell types, including macrophages, monocytes, T cells, B cells, and keratin-forming cells.IL-10 inhibits the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1 and TNF-alpha. Like IL-4, IL-10 enhances humoral immune responses and attenuates cell-mediated immune responses.
This recombinant human IL-10 is supplied as a lyophilized powder with high activity, high purity, low endotoxin, and no redundant labeling.

Storage

Compounding Methods
Centrifuge before opening the cap to bring the contents to the bottom. Reconstitute in sterile distilled water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL, which can be diluted even further according to subsequent experiments; for long-term storage, it is recommended that carrier protein (0.1% BSA) be added to the dilution buffer; dispense for a single experimental dose and freeze at -80°C to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
