Description

Hieff NGSTM FFPE DNA Repair Reagent is specifically designed for FFPE samples to repair varying degrees of damage in low-quality FFPE DNA, enhancing library yield and sequencing quality. This product can be directly used with Yeasen Hieff NGSTM Library Preparation Kits (Cat#12197/Cat# 12927) and the A-tailing module (Cat# 12608), with compatible systems that can repair 5 ng to 1 μg of fragmented FFPE DNA. Additionally, this product is also suitable for use with Yeasen Fragmentation Enzyme-based Library Preparation Kit.

During the library construction process, two sets of experiments were conducted to compare the same samples. One group included a repair reagent in the end-repair and A-tailing step, while the other group did not. The experimental results showed that the FFPE repair reagent significantly increased library yield for low-quality FFPE samples by repairing the samples, whereas its effect on high-quality FFPE samples was less pronounced.
