Description
Klenow (3'→5'exo-) DNA polymerase is a proteolytic product of E. coli DNA polymerase I, retaining the DNA polymerase activity of DNA polymerase I but losing the 5'→3' exonuclease activity. This enzyme has further removed the 3'→5' exonuclease activity through mutation. It can be used for DNA labeling with random priming and DNA sequencing by the dideoxy method, among other applications.

Note: Klenow Fragment (3'→5' exo-) from Yeasen and Supplier A was stored at 37°C for 7 and 14 days to assess residual enzyme activity. The results indicate that the residual activity of Yeasen 's Klenow Fragment (3'→5' exo-) (Cat#14460) after 14 days at 37°C is notably higher than that of the Supplier A.

Note: Using the same amount of Klenow Fragment (3'→5' exo-) (Cat#14460) from Yeasen and Supplier A for NGS library construction, the results show that the library yield with Yeasen 's Klenow Fragment (3'→5' exo-) (Cat#14460) at both 5 U and 10 U input is higher than that of Supplier A.
