Description
The MolPure™ Magnetic Pathogen DNA/RNA Kit is suitable for extracting pathogen microbial nucleic acids from biological liquid samples such as cervical swab preservation solution (it is recommended not to use preservation solutions with high concentrations of guanidine salt), whole blood, plasma, sputum, bronchoalveolar lavage fluid, cerebrospinal fluid, and other samples. This method employs magnetic bead purification technology, eliminating the need for toxic phenol-chloroform extraction during the extraction process, making it safe, non-toxic, and efficient. This method combines chemical and mechanical lysis to purify nucleic acids, including nucleic acids from viruses, mycoplasma, bacteria, fungi, and other microorganisms. The resulting products can be directly used for experiments such as PCR, qPCR, metagenomic library construction, and DNA/RNA co-library construction. When used with automated extraction instruments employing magnetic bead methods, high-throughput nucleic acid extraction can be achieved.
Features
1.Good sample compatibility: Compatible with samples such as swabs, whole blood, plasma, sputum, bronchoalveolar lavage fluid, cerebrospinal fluid, etc.
2.Simple and rapid operation: Only 40 minutes is required for single - sample extraction.
3.Wide applicability to pathogens: Combining chemical and mechanical methods, the purified nucleic acids (DNA/RNA) cover microorganisms such as viruses, mycoplasmas, bacteria, and fungi.
Applications
The kit adopts a lysis method that combines chemical and mechanical approaches. The purified nucleic acids include those of microorganisms such as viruses, mycoplasmas, bacteria, and fungi. The resulting products can be directly used in experiments such as PCR, qPCR, metagenomic library construction, and co - construction of DNA/RNA libraries.
