Description
The MolPure™ Cell/Tissue DNA Kit uses MolPure™ DNA Column and novel solution systems for the extraction of genomic DNA from various animal tissues and cells, such as rat and mouse tail materials. The extraction process does not need to use toxic phenol, chloroform and other organic extraction, nor does it need to use time-consuming isopropyl alcohol or ethanol precipitation. It is easy to operate, and can quickly complete the DNA extraction and purification of tissue samples (5~20 mg animal tissue, 0.5~1 cm rat/mouse tail material, 5 × 106 cultured cells). The MolPure™ DNA Column in the kit can selectively adsorb nucleic acids, and does not adsorb proteins, polysaccharides and other non-nucleic acids. The DNA obtained is of high purity and can be directly used for PCR, enzyme digestion and hybridization tests.
Features
1. Easy purification of high-quality DNA from animal tissues and cells, such as rat and mouse tail materials.
2. High-quality DNA is eluted with DNA Elution Buffer or water. DNA is especially well suited for PCR and other downstream applications. A260/A280>1.8.
3. Capable of recovering genomic DNA up to and above 40 kb. In most instances, mitochondrial DNA and viral DNA (if present) will also be recovered.
4. Suitable for 5~20 mg animal tissue, 0.5~1 cm rat/mouse tail material, 5 × 106 cultured cells.
Applications
Eluted, inhibitor-free DNA is ideal for PCR, endonuclease digestion, bisulfite conversion/methylation detection, sequencing, genotyping, etc.

Shipping and Storage
Part I components should be stored at 2~8℃ for 3 months and at -25~-15℃ for 2 years.
Part II components should be stored at room temperature for 18 mouths.
