Description
After cell lysis, the crude protein extract contains a large amount of endogenous proteases, which can degrade proteins in the cell extract. Therefore, to prevent the target protein from being degraded by proteases during protein purification, protease inhibitors need to be added to inhibit their activity.
This product is a mixture of several common protease inhibitors, including AEBSF, Aprotinin, Bestatin, E-64, Leupeptin, and Pepstatin A. It broadly inhibits various proteases from animal, plant, bacterial, and yeast tissues or cells, such as serine proteases, cysteine proteases, aminopeptidases, and acid proteases. Additionally, this product does not contain EDTA (a metalloprotease inhibitor), making it particularly suitable for proteins with metal ion-dependent active centers. It is compatible with subsequent experiments such as immobilized metal-chelate affinity chromatography (IMAC), 2D gel electrophoresis, and native gel electrophoresis.
The product is in tablet form, packaged in a glass bottle, with one tablet suitable for 10 mL of cell or tissue lysis solution.

Shipping and Storage
The product is shipped at room temperature and can be stored at 2~8℃ for at least 1 year. The protease inhibitor solution can be stored at 4°C for at least 2 weeks.
Instructions
1.Place one tablet of protease inhibitor in 10 mL of solution.
2.Dissolve for 1 minute and mix thoroughly using a vortex. [Note] The fully dissolved solution may appear slightly turbid, which is normal.
Notes
1. This product has broad protease inhibitory activity but does not have phosphatase inhibitory activity. For the study of phosphorylated proteins, use our phosphatase inhibitor mixture (100×) (Product No.: 20110ES03).
2. The protease inhibitor tablet may discolor if left at room temperature for too long.
3. This product can prepare 10 mL of 1× protease inhibitor solution. For samples containing particularly high concentrations of proteases, the final concentration may need to be increased to 2× or 3×.
4. Please wear the necessary PPE, such lab coat and gloves, to ensure your health and safety!
5. For research use only!
