Description
After cell lysis, the protein crude extract contains a large amount of endogenous proteases that can degrade proteins in the cell extract. To prevent the degradation of the target protein by proteases during protein purification, protease inhibitors are required to inhibit their activity. This product is a mixture of various common protease inhibitors, including AEBSF, Aprotinin, Bestatin, E-64, Leupeptin, Pepstatin A, and other components, which broadly inhibit a variety of proteases from plants, animals, bacteria, yeast, and other tissues or cells, such as serine proteases, cysteine proteases, aminopeptidases, and acidic proteases. Additionally, this product does not contain EDTA (a metalloproteinase inhibitor), making it particularly suitable for proteins whose active centers depend on metal ions. It is compatible with subsequent immobilized metal-chelate affinity chromatography (IMAC), 2-D gel electrophoresis, and native gel electrophoresis for protein analysis experiments.
This product is provided as a 100× stock solution dissolved in DMSO and can be used for WB, Co-IP, Pull-down assay, IF, IHC, kinase research, and other analyses.
