Description
The Commassie Blue Fast Stain Solution (No Heating, 10×) is designed for protein staining based on the Commassie Blue staining method. It is suitable for staining gels in denaturing or non-denaturing protein electrophoresis. The dye used is Commassie Blue G250, which does not contain toxic or irritating substances such as methanol or acetic acid.
This product offers fast staining speed and high sensitivity. There is no need for heating or destaining. It can stain proteins of approximately 100 ng within 5 minutes and detect proteins as low as 10 ng within 30 minutes. The gel staining may show a blue-green background, which can be removed by rinsing with tap water to observe or photograph the results. If the gel is washed several times with water on a rotary shaker, the faint background can be completely removed.
