Description
RNase Inhibitor is a specific ribonuclease (RNase) inhibitor found in the human placenta. Its mechanism of action for specifically inactivating RNase is: it binds to RNase via non-covalent bonds, forming a complex that causes RNase inactivation.
This kit uses the principle of a double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to detect the residual amount of RNase inhibitor. The RNase inhibitor standard and test samples are added to a pre-coated enzyme plate with anti-RNase inhibitor antibodies (36707-A), followed by the addition of a diluted biotin-labeled RNase inhibitor detection antibody (36707-C), and finally Streptavidin-HRP (SA-HRP) (36707-D). This forms the antibody+antigen+antibody-Biotin+SA-HRP complex. After washing, TMB substrate solution (36707-H) is added to develop color.
Under the catalysis of HRP enzyme, TMB is transformed from colorless to blue and, under the action of the stop solution (36707-I), is finally converted into yellow. The intensity of the yellow color is positively correlated with the amount of RNase inhibitor detected in the sample.
