Gastrin I, also known as gastrin, or gastric mucosal regenin, is an endogenous peptide produced in the stomach that can act as a selective agonist of cholecystokinin 2 (CCK2) receptors, as well as stimulate gastric acid secretion, and can be used in applications such as culturing gastrointestinal organoids.
