Description
Interferon-γ(IFN-γ) is an immunomodulatory protein that belongs to the interferon family. Interferon-γ is mainly produced by activated T cells, NK cells and certain subpopulations of lymphocytes, and is a cytokine with multiple biological functions. Interferon gamma plays an important regulatory role in the immune response. It enhances the killing capacity of macrophages and dendritic cells, promotes their release of inflammatory cytokines, and regulates the expression of antigen-presenting molecules, thereby strengthening the cellular immune response. In addition, interferon gamma can regulate the differentiation and function of T cells, promote the development of Th1 cells, enhance B cell class switching to IgG, and regulate the balance between cellular and humoral immunity. In clinical practice, interferon γ is widely used in the treatment of certain infectious diseases and malignant tumors, especially those related to cellular immunity.
This recombinant human IFN-γ is supplied in the form of lyophilized powder with high activity, high purity, low endotoxin and no redundant labeling.
