Description
Human serum albumin (HSA) is synthesized by hepatocytes and is the protein with the highest content in human plasma. It can be used as a carrier to transport nutrients such as fatty acids and amino acids. It can also regulate plasma pH and maintain plasma osmotic pressure. It is one of the important components in animal cell culture media.
This product is a recombinant human albumin expressed and purified from Pichia pastoris using genetic recombination technology. It does not contain animal-derived components and has no risk of blood-borne viral infection. Compared with serum-derived albumin (pHSA), it has higher safety and stability and can be used for various types of cell culture, such as mesenchymal stem cells (MSC), embryonic stem cells (ESC), induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) and immune cells.
This product can be used for:
