Description
HGFR is a glycosylated receptor tyrosine kinase that plays a central role in epithelial morphogenesis and cancer development. The protein possesses tyrosine kinase activity. The primary single chain precursor protein is post-translationally cleaved to produce the alpha and beta subunits, which are disulfide linked to form the mature receptor. Within the ECD, human HGFR shares 86%-88% aa sequence identity with canine, mouse, and rat HGFR.

Molecular Weight |
The mature form of HGF R is a heterodimer which can be cleaved into α and β chain. The protein has a predicted MW of 32.5 kDa (α chain) and 72.1 kDa (β chain). Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 45-50 kDa and 80-90 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result. |

Reconstitution |
Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL` is recommended (usually we use 1 mg/mL solution for lyophilization). Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. |
Storage
The products are shipped with ice pack and can be stored at -20℃ for 1 year.
2-7 days, 2 to 8 °C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
3 months, -20 °C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
