Description
Cluster of Differentiation-200 receptor 1 (CD200R1), also known as OX-2 receptor, is a transmembrane protein in the immunoglobulin superfamily expressed on the surface of myeloid cells and important in the regulation of myeloid cell activity. Mature CD200R1 consists of an extracellular domain (ECD) with one Ig-like Vtype and one Ig-like C2type domain, a transmembrane segment, and a short cytoplasmic domain. Alternate splicing of the human CD200R1 mRNA generates four isoforms, two of which are truncated in the Ig-C2 domain and are likely secreted. CD200R1 expression is restricted primarily to mast cells, basophils, macrophages, and dendritic cells while its ligand, CD200, is widely distributed. CD200R1 signaling inhibits the expression of proinflammatory molecules including TNFs, IFNs, and inducible nitric oxide synthase in response to selected stimuli, which implicate that CD200/CD200R1 inhibitory signaling pathway plays a prominent role in limiting inflammation in a wide range of inflammatory diseases.

Source |
Recombinant Human CD200 R1/CRTR2 Protein is expressed from HEK293 Cells with hFc tag at the C-terminal. It contains Ala27-Leu266. |
Molecular Weight |
Approximately 53.7 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 70-80 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result. |
Purity |
> 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE and HPLC. |
Activity |
ELISA Data: Immobilized Human CD200, His Tag at 0.5μg/ml (100μl/Well) on the plate. Dose response curve for Human CD200 R1, hFc Tag with the EC50 18ng/ml determined by ELISA. |
Endotoxin |
< 1.0 EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method. |
Formulation |
Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 5% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization. |
Reconstitution |
Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL is recommended (usually we use 1 mg/mL solution for lyophilization). Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. |
Storage
Transported with ice packs. Store at -20℃ to -80℃, valid for one year.
After reconstitution, store unopened at -20 to -80°C for 3 to 6 months. After reconstitution, store at 2 to 8°C for 2 to 7 days.。
It is recommended to store in aliquots and freeze for the first use to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
