Flt3 ligand is a growth factor that regulates the proliferation of early hematopoietic cells and binds to cells expressing the tyrosine kinase receptor Flt3.Flt3 ligand does not stimulate early hematopoietic cell proliferation on its own, but works synergistically with other CSFs and interleukins to induce growth and differentiation. Unlike SCF, Flt3 ligand is inactive against mast cells.Multiple isoforms of Flt3 ligand have been identified, with the predominant biologically active form anchored to the cell surface as the extracellular structural domain of a transmembrane protein (209 a.a.). The membrane-bound isoform can be cleaved by proteolytic hydrolysis to produce the biologically active soluble isoform.
This Recombinant Mouse Flt3 Ligand is supplied in liquid form and is highly active, highly pure, low endotoxin, and label free.
