描述
庆大霉素硫酸盐，是一种广谱氨基糖苷类抗生素，其对许多革兰氏阴性菌和革兰氏阳性菌有较好的抵抗能力，甚至一些 β-内酰胺类敏感的抗万古霉素（VRE）肠球菌，以及一些对糖肽类抗生素耐药的“超级细菌”。其抗菌机制是与细菌核糖体的30S亚基结合，导致密码子错误，阻断肽酰tRNA由A位向P位运输，从而抑制细菌蛋白质的合成。
硫酸庆大霉素在实验室中用途广泛：1）微生物学研究，常用于药敏实验中筛选敏感细菌；2）抑制细胞培养中的细菌污染，有效浓度为0.5～50µg/mL；3）分子生物学研究中常用于选择性筛选携带庆大霉素耐药基因的阳性克隆，常用浓度：15µg/mL。
