Interleukin 15 (IL-15) is an immunomodulatory cytokine that stimulates the proliferation of T-lymphocytes.IL-15 exerts its biological activity primarily on T-cells. It is also essential for the development, survival, and activation of NK cells.Increased IL-15 expression has been associated with rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, and diseases associated with retroviral HIV and HTLV-I.

Shipping and Storage

-25 ~ -15 ° C storage, 1 year expiration date after receipt.

After re-dissolving, store at 2 ~8 °C, 7 days expiration date. After re-dissolution, store at -25~-15 °C, 3 months expiration date. 

Compounding method

Centrifuge at 3000 rpm for 5 minutes before uncapping. It is recommended that lyophilized proteins be reconstituted in NO bacterial H2O to a concentration of no less than 100 μg/mL and that the stock solution be incubated at room temperature for at least 20 minutes to ensure adequate re-solubilization. Do not vortex! Vigorous shaking may impair the biological activity of the protein. For long-term storage, it is recommended to add a carrier protein or stabilizer (e.g., 0.1% BSA, 5% HSA, 10% FBS, or 5% alginate), and to dispense the re-solubilized protein solution as needed to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
