The BCA (Bicinchoninic Acid) method is a widely used protein concentration determination method. Based on the biuret reaction, proteins reduce Cu²⁺ to Cu⁺ in an alkaline environment, forming a purple-blue complex that has a high absorbance at 562 nm. The amount of this reaction product is directly proportional to the protein concentration. The BCA protein concentration determination method achieves simplicity, sensitivity, speed, and stability in protein concentration measurement. This kit includes a series of ready-to-use protein standard solutions (BSA solutions) that require no dilution, making it convenient and fast. It can be used for cuvette-based detection or microplate-based detection. The cuvette method allows for 50 tests, while the microplate method allows for 500 tests. Additionally, we also provide an enhanced BCA protein concentration determination kit (Cat#20201ES) that allows customers to prepare their own standard curves based on their needs (the protein standard provided in the kit facilitates the preparation of standard curves by users).

Shipping and Storage
The product is shipped with ice pack. Reagent A and Reagent B in the kit can be stored at room temperature or 2℃~ 8℃. Protein standard can be stored at -25℃~-15℃ for 12 months if it is not used for a long time.
