Interleukin-15 (IL-15) is an immunomodulatory cytokine that stimulates the proliferation of T-lymphocytes.IL-15 exerts its biological activity primarily on T-cells. It is also essential for the development, survival and activation of NK cells.Increased expression of IL-15 has been associated with rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, and diseases associated with the retroviruses HIV and HTLV-I.The expression of IL-15 has been shown to be associated with the development of T lymphocytes. Human IL-15 is biologically active against mouse CTLL cells as measured by dose-dependent stimulation of cell proliferation.

Compounding method

Use NO bacterial deionized water to reconstitute lyophilized proteins. It is recommended that proteins be divided for first use to avoid repeated freeze-thawing.
